Jordan Brand Athletes Debut Air Jordan 1 PE Cleats For Playoffs

Sunday night’s highly contested matchup between the Bears and the Eagles wrapped up one of the craziest Wild Card weekends in recent memory, with three of the four games decided by just one score and the fourth ending in the Colts blowing the Texans out at home. Now, the winners of those four games are hitting the road to take on the top two seeds of the AFC and the NFC, which means that it is time for the league’s top stars to break out some serious PE cleat heat. We have seen Jumpman athletes the likes of Thomas Davis and Joe Haden sport some flashy Jordan 11 PEs in playoffs past, but with both the Steelers and the Panthers failing to reach January football this year, it is on the New Orleans Saint’s All-Pro wideout Michael Thomas to shoulder the load.

In the middle of last night’s aforementioned NFC clash, Thomas took to his IG stories to flaunt a shimmering pair of Air Jordan 1 cleats done up with “Chicago”-inspired color blocking and a very NOLA-friendly color scheme. While Can’t Guard Mike’s golden-clad AJ1 PEs are certainly the flashiest, Colt’s safety Malik Hooker laced up a similar royal blue variety on Saturday, showing off a personal initial and number touch on the inside of its tongue. Be sure to tune into the Saints, Eagles game Sunday at 4:40pm ET to see Thomas’ AJ1’s as well as what other Jordan Brand athletes like Alshon Jeffery and Golden Tate lace up as well.
