The Air Jordan 1 Gets A Ladies-Only “Light Cream” Makeover

As one of Jordan Brand’s most popular and esteemed silhouettes on the market today, the Air Jordan 1 has garnered widespread favor among male and female sneakerheads alike. The Jumpman knows that their leading ladies like Aleali May and Rox Brown love the AJ1, so they’ve recently brought several special women’s-only colorways and collabs to market, and the timeless sneaker is prepared to keep soaring above the competition all through 2019 as well. A new “Light Cream” makeup recently surfaced, and it features an interesting mix of styles: while the overlays opt for a rich blue leather, the base is constructed of a soft light cream suede. The fusion of light and dark tones is then completed by debossed branding on the tongue, plus a new-age ball and wings logo on the lateral heel collar — replacing the usual debossed detail with a new textured ceramic version for a finishing pop of premium flair.
