The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Phantom” Is Releasing In March

In 2018, the Jordan Brand began placing a significantly increased emphasis on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG silhouette, making one of the most iconic sneakers in history readily available to the masses. While this may have removed the sneaker’s aura of exclusivity, it has helped the Jumpman move product and has given even the most casual sneakerhead the chance to own their own pair of the sneaker that started it all. Next up for the AJ1 is a brand new “Phantom” color scheme that carries a similar aesthetic to the revered OG “Metallic” series, coming done up primarily in white with a bold hue responsible for its focal point. Like the Metallics, this iteration’s ankle collar and heel underlays equip hits of University Red, but its major deviation arrives via red stitching throughout most of the model with that same hue acting as a shadow underneath its midfoot Swoosh. Finishing embellishments include a contrasting black Wings logo, jagged stitching on its foam tongue, and a classic Nike Air tongue tag. With pairs expected to release at retailers around the globe on March 16th, enjoy a detailed look at this newest Retro High OG below and stay tuned for updates.
