Nike Honors Motor City With An Air Force 1 “Home And Away Detroit” Collection

Nike Honors Motor City With An Air Force 1 “Home And Away Detroit” Collection

As a follow-up to their first, three-piece “Home And Away” collection that honored creators in Houston, Atlanta, and Miami, Foot Locker and Nike are headed to the Motor City to release a duo of Air Force 1 Lows. Tapping into the creative lenses of homegrown rapper Tee Grizzley and influencer Haha Davis to create supporting digital content that will launch alongside the sneakers on February 2nd, this capsule represents the city’s connection with sneakers, its people, and a few thinks that makes Detroit unique. Fans of these Detroit-friendly Forces will have their choice between a black and orange variety that pays homage to the connection and love the city has for the game of basketball, while a blue and white pinstriped variety emulates the blue collar nature of Motown and its affiliation with the automobile industry with a mechanic name tag-style patch on its lateral heel. Launching to further celebrate the grand opening of the new Foot Locker Power Store in Detroit Metro, grab a detailed look at the Air Force 1 “Home And Away” Detroit collection and tell us which pair you prefer.
