Nike SB’s Janoski Model, Over Ten Years Strong, Gets A New Mid Crafted Silhouette

Few lifestyle shoes on the market have enjoyed the longevity of Nike SB’s Janoski, a boat shoe-inspired skate sneaker that’s found long-lasting favor among skaters and finance bros alike. 2019 marks a full decade on the market for the Janoski — and since it first released in 2009 it’s received many a makeover, from sleek slip-on versions to the flexible Janoski Max. Now it’s ringing in its second decade with yet another alternate take: the Janoski Mid Crafted, a silhouette that’s more moccasin than boat shoe. Arriving in both a soft khaki and an ashy black, each shoe features a longhair suede upper with a raised stitched seam around the toebox and raw-edged laces, accents that drive home the moccasin stylings. The look is then completed with a supple brown leather liner, a cork insole, and a sail midsole.
