UA Curry 6 “Hi Vis Yellow” Releases At The Start Of All-Star Weekend

2019 is surely the year of bright, maximalist designs as the spark lit by a few notable contenders of 2018 created a buzz that spread across all circuits of streetwear and sneaker culture. Neon palettes weaved throughout the reflective Hi Vis garments of workwear have opened up new avenues for labels like Under Armour as they bathe this forthcoming Curry 6 in that vibrant utilitarian accent. Extending the performance sneaker into a place of mindful lifestyle, its intricate hexagonal-patterned sole unit adds visual depth to the mostly translucent component. Knit uppers are dressed in that loud yellow tone with overlays and lace stays complimenting in a slightly off-kilter shade, leaving the black heel counter, laces, and tongue tab to maintain that note of balance. If you’re interested in grabbing a set for yourself, stay tuned for its release on February 15th at Under Armour and select retailers.

Updated February 11th: According to Under Armour, this UA Curry 6 “Coy Fish” is inspired by one of Steph’s memorable pranks during college. Details to follow.
