In May of 2018, the Jordan Brand released a luxurious version of the Air Jordan 11 dressed in all black with a “Cap and Gown” monicker meant to pay homage to high school and college graduates. Now, the Jumpman is reviving that aesthetic a year later with the upcoming release of a matching Air Jordan 13 with patent leather dressing up the top half of its upper with a fine, buttery nubuck underneath. Due to its slightly upgraded construction, this celebratory release of His Airness’ 13th signature sneaker will come with a $200 USD price tag as opposed to the customary $190 mark.
