Nike Drops Two React Element 55s With Branded Taped Seams

Despite spawning from the DNA of Nike’s shoe of 2018, the React Element 55 continues to surprise, holding a candle to its older brother’s legacy with a flurry of clean colorways. Confidently heading down this path of evolving recreation, the silhouette’s many accents — though arguably minimal to other offerings — has been redone again and again with this forthcoming iteration refining the over-branded motif once released ad nauseam. The taped seams, which outline the heel counter of each, come ornamented by the patented Nike stamp with only the lateral swoosh acting in assistance to logo plays. Exhibited on two alternatives, the motif sits along a connecting use of reds and blues with the base swapping between a neutral grey and a bright white. While the latter primarily uses the cool tone in its tongue and rear accents, the former opts instead for the bolder hue. If you’re interested in grabbing either pair for yourself, expect a release to arrive at select retailers and Nike.com come February 28th.
