The Nike Adapt BB Returns On April 19th In Dark Grey And Multi-Color

Delighting ballers and tech heads alike when it debuted in January, Nike’s next-generation Adapt BB is now returning to market in a sporty combination of dark grey and punchy red titled “Future Of The Game.” The Swoosh Brand’s first-ever power-lacing sneaker that was built for basketball, the Adapt BB features a low-cut construction and a sleek knit upper that’s reminiscent of the Nike shoes in Kobe Bryant‘s signature line. The customizable fit system eliminates the need for laces, opting instead for a sheath-like construction with a fit that can be customized via an app on the wearer’s phone. You can adjust more than just the fit as well: the midsole’s duo of lights can also be changed to any color of your choosing via the aforementioned app.

From a style standpoint, this new color combo opts for a slate grey upper with slightly lighter grey tones on the sizeable midfoot Swoosh/smaller medial midsole swoosh and sculpted heel for tonal contrast. Pops of red are used sparingly on the lining of the tongue’s pull tab and under the balls of the feet, and the insole offers a lively pop of hidden flair with its multicolored pattern. A white midsole and semi-translucent grey outsole then round off the look. If you’re in need of a new hoop shoe or simply tired of tying your laces before you take the court, you’ll be able to secure a pair on April 19th via the retailers listed below for $350 USD.
