Nike Ushers In New Colorways Of The Air Vortex

Nike Ushers In New Colorways Of The Air Vortex

Originally released in 1985, the Nike Air Vortex was originally conceptualized a light-yet-stable running shoe, but in the three decades-plus since it’s morphed into a retro lifestyle favorite due to its sleek construction and appealing color palettes. Now, it’s appeared in a new color combo that’s just as much stately as it is sporty: one that melds earthy browns and tans with athletically inclined royal blue accoutrements. Featuring a combination of mesh, nylon, and suede on the upper, the shoe’s quarter panel takes on most of the aforementioned earth tones, while the blue accents coat the toebox, eyestays, and the vast majority of the heel. Further retro stylings are then provided by the eggshell-colored tongue that’s complete with classic branding and a tried-and-true gum outsole. Presenting a look that’s perfect for the current seasonal transition, you can expect this new makeup to arrive on Nike.com and at select Swoosh Brand stockists for an ultra-reasonable $90 USD price point in the coming weeks.
