The Nike Air Max 720 In Black Mesh Releases On April 11th

The Nike Air Max 720 has ping-ponged between new-jack textured synthetic uppers and more classic mesh uppers since it first came to market this February, and now it’s opting for the latter once again on this new black colorway. Any tonal palette of this nature is inherently simple, but the simplicity that’s present allows the unique nature of the design to speak out, as the upper’s compelling shape and warped plastic overlays are seemingly enhanced by their monochromatic makeup. A smoky anthracite presents itself on the plastic midfoot and the 720’s signature colossal Air Max cushioning unit, while the outsole goes back to black to complete the look.
