Nike LeBron Soldier 12 Flyease “Big Taste” Remembers A Past Sprite Ad

Known for pitching ice-cold citrus flavored refreshment both literally and figuratively, LeBron James‘s Sprite-slinging alter ego Big Taste is now stepping off the pitching rubber and onto the basketball court via a new Nike LeBron Soldier 12 Flyease. At first glance, these Nike shoes conjure immediate visions of the invigorating beverage, mixing a blue base with green detailing on the midsole. However, if you look closer, there are even more specific accents to be seen. The nubuck toebox features a bold debossed “Big Taste” print, while the unique lockdown system offers a veritable multitude of embellishments: the midfoot strap features a two-tone Sprite-style Swoosh, while the collar strap opts for a duo of opulent gold details with its embroidered Swoosh and LeBron crown logo. A zipper then snakes up the collar to ensure easy on/easy off. Although the King will unfortunately not be continuing his tradition of rocking Soldiers in the postseason — as his Lakers finished 10th in the competitive Western Conference — you can scoop a pair now on Nike.com for $130 USD.
