The Nike Air More Uptempo “Camo” Releases On June 19th

With its bold lettered overlays and bulky look that’s quintessential ’90s Nike Basketball, the resurgent Air More Uptempo has enjoyed a spate of releases both classic and collaborative over the past few years. Now, it’s back again with a new method of embellishment that masterfully plays up its most noticeable design detail: a camo pattern on the aforementioned blocky letters. Done up in a traditional woodland print and outlined by white borders, the tremendous text offers a loud contrast with the pebbled black leather background provided by the upper. Light tan laces add a small-but-welcome hit of extra contrast, and a black midsole/outsole encases a translucent full-foot Air Max cushioning unit to complete the look. These combat-ready Uptempos will release on June 19th for $170 USD at retailers like Sivadescalzo, so check out a set of images while you ready yourself for their arrival.
