Paul George’s Shoe Tribute To His Mother To Release Before The Holiday

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and Paul George is paying homage to his beloved mom Paulette with a special makeup of his Nike PG 3. Dressed in rich purple with sporty white accents, these commemorative Nike shoes are packed chock-full of special details: a textured floral print appears around the collar, a light purple P is embroidered on the heel’s white doily print overlay for a double dose of back-end detailing, and “Paulette” is stitched on the inside of the tongue in purple. All the space-themed midsole accents from George’s other PG 3 colorways return, and a soft lilac outsole completes the look. George has spoken openly about how his mother — who suffered a debilitating stroke when he was only six years old — is his biggest inspiration, and has also raised money for the American Heart Association/done a commercial for American Stroke Month. Therefore, it’s only fitting that his signature line is joining Kevin Durant‘s “Aunt Pearl” releases in honoring family members who helped them become the stars they are today.
