Over its 15-year history, the Paris-based Quai 54 streetball tournament has become one of the basketball world’s premier summer events, and established a long-standing collaborative relationship with Jordan Brand/Nike as well. Now, to celebrate a decade and a half of dunks, dimes, and deep jumpers, the Jumpman has revealed their 2019 Quai 54 collection, and one of the pairs in the pack is this new Air Jordan 1 Mid. Full of special details and accented by just enough vivid color, this AJ1 Mid adorns its black and white tumbled leather base with a bold black jelly Swoosh, a shaggy chenille patch with the tourney’s logo on the tongue, and a tonal pattern on the collar flaps/heel. Each heel collar then features a duo of stitched-together colors for a little extra Parisian flair: the left shoe dances between yellow/green, and the right shoe presents red/blue. Special insoles with the same print that’s present on the tournament’s unique Air Jordan 8s then completes the look.
