First Look At The Reimagined Air Jordan 1 Nova XX

First Look At The Reimagined Air Jordan 1 Nova XX

Jordan Brand has gone to great lengths to re-imagine the Air Jordan 1 in special women’s-only makeups over the past few seasons, and the latest culmination of their efforts is this striking new Air Jordan 1 Nova XX. Presenting a “Bred Toe” color scheme with the exception of the white tongue and an ultra-high top cut, the Nova’s palate may be familiar at first glance. However, the rest of the shoe is anything but. The most striking detail is unquestionably the doubled-up lacing system, which uses a duo of asymmetrical throats to hold the tongue in place instead of wrapping its laces over the tongue entirely. A removable black strap around the ankle collar with a jeweled ball-and-wings badge then ensures proper lockdown from the top down. The remainder of the branding is altered as well, thanks to a debossed leather tongue badge and a sans-Swoosh midfoot that opts for a mere perforated outline, ensuring all attention is focused on the unique construction. The look is then finalized by a thick white midsole that sits somewhere between Air Jordan 1 and Air Force 1, while the outsole offers a cored-out design with translucent red trim. Due to their particular look, these Air Jordans are sure to be somewhat divisive upon their arrival, but one thing’s for sure: they’re quite unlike any take on the silhouette we’ve seen before. Check out official images and a store list directly below, and stay tuned for further release info as it’s available.
