adidas Continues Its Exploration Of The ZX Series With The Torsion

adidas Originals is all about bridging the past and present of Trefoil Brand footwear, and their latest effort is the new ZX Torsion, which is set to debut in a “Bright Cyan” colorway this July. First introduced in the ’80s, the Torsion line was crafted around the physics of human motion and designed to offer exemplary support. Along with that came a unique shape look and recognizable two-piece midsole, both of which are brought into the modern day here. The upper is heavily retro in both material and color, calling upon a vibrant cyan mesh for the base while using both blue suede and cyan leather for the overlays. The Three Stripe midfoot graphic and lacing system offer volt tones both sharp and soft, while hi-vis reflective detailing appears on the heel/toe and a bright orange adds extra flair to the sockliner. Down below, the split midsole takes on a vintage sail colorway. If you look closely, you’ll also notice full-length Boost cushioning is ensconced in the midsole, visible from both the bottom and the torsion shank between the split heel/forefoot. These adidas shoes will retail for $140 USD, and you can expect a release on July 11th at the retailers listed below.
