Nike’s Inside-Out Renditions Continue With The Air Force 1 “Vandalized”

Nike’s affinity for modifying their icons has never been as evident as 2019, with the new year springing a new Beaverton inspired by prototyping, hit Netflix original Stranger Things, and even the mistakingly inside-out. Surely no accident, however, the Air Force 1 “Vandalized” takes on a form lead by the debuting Air Max 1 that featured the same motif; though slightly less forthright in its approach, this pair features sizing tags plastered on the tongue with components swapping in-and-out from the original to its inverse. Perforations on the toe are only halfway cut out while swooshes are interrupted a quarter through as it separates thanks to the overlaid heel wrap. Heel tabs, in an extremely textured suede, are mismatched from the left and right foot, pulsing in either a red or blue much like the accompanying insoles. Grab a detailed look at the newest women’s AF1 right below and be sure to keep an eye out for their release at select retailers and Nike.com come July 1st.
