Nike Ends Kyrie’s Boston Run With The Zoom Vapor X Kyrie 5 “Clover”

Nike Ends Kyrie’s Boston Run With The Zoom Vapor X Kyrie 5 “Clover”

Kyrie Irving‘s somewhat-tumultuous tenure with the Boston Celtics is in the books after the mercurial point guard recently agreed to a four-year max deal with the Brooklyn Nets, but he’s got one more piece of footwear for C’s fans before he departs, as the hybrid Zoom Vapor X Kyrie 5 has appeared in a new “Clover” colorway. Using a crisply elegant white for the base, these unique Nike shoes then take on clover green and a rich metallic gold for their accents. Tilted Swooshes — gold on the medial side, green on the lateral side — provide the lion’s share of the branding, while further green-to-gold ombre style trim appears on both the tongue badge and the Kyrie 5-style lace overlay. A tonal textured all-seeing eye gives the heel extra flair, while a thin and responsive white midsole packed with Zoom Air ensures they play as good as they look. The design is finalized by a white outsole with a translucent midfoot piece that covers one final NikeCourt logo. Physical proof that Celtics colors look just as good on a tennis court as they do on the NBA hardwood, these Vapor X Kyries are available now at Nike.com for $160 USD.
