adidas Is Bringing Back Stefan Edberg’s Signature Shoes In OG Colors

adidas Is Bringing Back Stefan Edberg’s Signature Shoes In OG Colors

Stefan Edberg was one of the world’s finest tennis players during the ’80s and ’90s, known for his serve-and-volley style and unflappable nature, and now adidas Consortium is looking back to the Swedish sensation’s glory days with a reissue of his original Torsion Edberg Comp from 1990. The upper is constructed of a premium white leather, and features a bold plethora of purple, aqua blue, pink, and orange hits for classic style. The rounded toebox utilizes reinforced seams and an overlaid toe cap for extra durability, and the tongue boasts textured detailing. Down below a sail-colored midsole with further purple and aqua blue hits continues the upper’s sporty ethos. A volt green Torsion system ensures still-exemplary support, and matches the volt green Consortium lace deubre as well for a finishing touch of flair. Edberg’s Torsions are set to return on July 19th and will retail for $120, so check out a store list and full set of official images directly below.
