This Tie-Dyed Nike Air Force 1 Celebrates Chicago And The Summer Of Peace

Tie-dye seems to be back in the limelight as of late with even streetwear imprints trying their hands at the lovingly DIY technique. Though often sticking to strong color blocking and adventurous retoolings, Beaverton is taking a step back and honoring Chicago as well as the Summer of Peace with an Air Force 1 wholly personal in its identity. Color is the main bread and butter here with almost each and every accent arriving dipped in a mosaic of rainbow hues. Toe boxes to the heel and then right back around the profile swoosh all fade into mixes of bright yellows, neon greens, baby blues, and hot pinks. Executed in a more maximal fashion than the similarly done Air Max colorways, this pair is certainly fearless in its design. Small nods to the Windy City sit in icon form along the heel while a playful peace sign/swoosh combo subtly hides along the insole. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and keep it locked in for word on their official Nike.com release.
