Nike Recalls Paul George’s Fishing Hobby With The PG3 “Lure”

Although Paul George‘s signature Nike line has spent a significant amount of time up in outer space this year thanks to several NASA collaborations, it’s now looking down to cool waters with a new PG 3 “Lure.” George’s love of fishing is well-known — as is the Swoosh Brand’s propensity to nod to the hobby with special makeups — and this new PG 3 keeps things relaxed with a lake-ready aqua blue and white mesh upper. A signature design detail arrives via a leaping fish on the white heel, while further blue and bright green accents on the throat, tongue, and collar add contrast. The upper is tied together both literally and figuratively by striped white and blue laces, and down below the white midsole features a soft grey Swoosh. The outsole wraps things up with a circular traction pattern and marbled detailing over the forefoot’s Zoom Air cushioning unit. These new PGs will release August 1st for $110 USD at the retailers listed below, so be sure to get ’em while they’re hot: there’s a good chance George might have significantly less time than usual to fish next summer, as he and Kawhi Leonard are looking to take the Clippers deep into the NBA playoffs.
