The Air Jordan 4 FIBA Releases On September 7th

With FIBA’s 2019 World Cup set to tip off in China this August, excitement around the premier international basketball tournament is understandably high, and Jordan Brand is saluting spirited on-court international competition with a special new makeup of the Air Jordan 4. Dubbed the “FIBA,” these fresh AJ4s may appear inherently USA-themed at first glance with their red, white, and blue colorway. However, their inspiration is fully global, as a textured tonal all-over flag print appears on both the quarter where the signature mesh netting would usually be placed and the throat. A championship-ready hit of final detailing is then offered by a bold metallic gold Jumpman logo on the heel. They’re set to release September 7th in both men’s and kids (pictured here) sizes, so get your most detailed look yet directly below, and be sure to tune into the FIBA World Cup this August/September to see the world’s finest hoopers duke it out on the hardwood. If you’re looking for more tourney-themed footwear when you’re done, be sure to check out the Air Jordan 12 FIBA as well.
