Nike’s Warped Grid Pattern Returns On The Vapormax Plus “Wolf Grey”

Nike has spruced the hybrid Vapormax Plus up with warped gradient patterns a handful of times over the last few months, and now their ranks are gaining another member thanks to this new grey/navy makeup. Decidedly more muted than past pairs — which featured bold color schemes and bright accents — this Vapormax Plus opts for a Georgetown Hoyas-esque mix of wolf grey and dark navy, letting the overall shape and design do the majority of the talking. The textured upper is constructed of a wolf grey synthetic material, and features both white and black lines exploding out from the midfoot for an arrangement that’s almost herringbone tweed in nature. A translucent navy overlay nods to the model’s Air Max Plus heritage, and down below the Cushlon midsole and Vapormax cushioning unit are both dressed in dark navy tones. A yellow TN badge on the heel then adds just enough sporty flair to complete the look.
