Official Images Of The Nike Zoom Freak 1 “Roses”

NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s Nike Zoom Freak 1 is a shoe that’s designed to tell a story, with each colorway exploring a part of his past. Giannis has already nodded to his beloved brothers Kostas, Francis, Thanasis, and Alexis with the “All Bros”, and now his signature Nike shoes are offering their most touching tribute yet, honoring his late father Charles with a “Roses” makeup. The colorway features a crisp white mesh upper, accented only by small red hits on the tongue/heel and a slightly sized-down gold Swoosh on the medial midfoot. The midsole provides most of the heavy lifting from a design standpoint, with its bold backwards Swoosh graphic that creeps up onto the upper dressed in a shimmering gold. The outsole then completes the loving homage with a mix of red and white tones, and a poignant “I Am My Father’s Legacy” text hit debossed into its traction pattern. Double-stacked Zoom Air in the heel completes the performance piece, offering springy and responsive court feel. Enjoy a full set of official images directly, below, and expect these “Roses” to bloom on Nike.com come September 7th for $120 USD.
