A testament of American pride, Beaverton crafts yet another Independence Day creation quite a bit late to the show; hits of the classic red, white, and blue are scattered throughout the retro presentations of the Tailwind 79, evoking an aesthetic almost vintage throughout. Hits of suede bear a much less saturated blue — almost pastel — mimicking an almost faded exterior that blends well with the nylon synthetic doused in the bold warm tone. Accents by way of the swoosh, tongue, midsole, and heel are untouched with color, finishing off the three signatures of the flag though with a spin that certainly lie on their own.
