Elliot Santiago Coming fresh off the brand’s recent Kith x ASICS collaboration by way of the Gel-Kayano 5 “Oasis“, Ronnie Fieg has teased yet another upcoming model with the Japanese-based retailer accompanied with a brand new version of the GEL-Lyte 3.1. Since first joining forces in the late 2000s, the two entities have built quite the influential partnership by releasing a multitude of footwear models that include the icons such as the GEL-Lyte III and even the lesser known OGs in the GEL Diablo and GEL-Sight. Looking to add to their rich collaborative catalog, this GEL-Lyte 3.1 appears to be dressed with a muted purple color palette that features a hairy suede material throughout its upper overlays. In addition, branding is also present via text on the insoles with “Fieg” printed on the right shoe and “Asics” on the left. Release info have yet to be revealed, you can expect these to drop sometime this Fall during the brand’s customary Friday release schedule.
