Nike’s Air Max 90 Prepares For Fall With New Wheat And Black Colorway

Although there’s still a healthy chunk of summer left, fall is indeed around the corner, and the change of seasons often presents a need for a change of footwear. Yes, autumn is wheat sneaker season, and one of the options that’ll be available to you this year is this new Nike Air Max 90. Most wheat Nike shoes opt for a look that’s almost completely tonal, but these 90s opt to flip the script by instead offering a mixture of hues and materials: the upper’s top half opts for a shaggy wheat suede, while the mudguard and Swoosh both call upon a rugged black leather. More black offers contrast on the ripstop tongue and collar trim, while small clay orange accents — nearly the same hue as we saw on the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 “Desert Ore” at the top of the year — appear on both the tongue and heel badges. Down below, a black midsole, black Air Max cushioning unit, and black outsole complete the look. You can expect these AM90s to pop up on Nike.com in the coming weeks, so get your fill in the meantime with a full gallery of images directly below.
