Detailed Look At The sacai x Nike Blazer In Black

sacai‘s doubled-up take on the Nike Blazer was unquestionably one of the hottest shoes of the summer, and now designer Chitose Abe’s lauded brand is linking back up with Nike to release a second set of Blazers later this fall, one of which is this greyscale-style colorway. Discarding the loud schemes used on the previous set of releases in favor of something a little more subtle, these Blazers feature a black leather base that’s accented by grey and white detailing. This seemingly simple scheme somehow manages to make the look even more striking however, as each piece of the construction stands out in its own unique way. Doubled-up grey tongues, black/grey Swooshes, and a sublimely-stacked white midsole all offer tone and texture, while premium leather on the upper ensures that the quality stacks up to the look. Everything is then rounded off by a classic gum outsole. You’ll be able to get your hands on a pair later this year, so in the meantime enjoy a gallery of on-foot shots right here, and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for more info on a specific date of arrival as it’s made available.

Updated September 16th, 2019: According to retailer Dover Street Market, the sacai x Nike Blazer release has been postponed to October 10th.
