The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex Appears In Golden Uppers

With summer’s hottest days in the rearview mirror and fall’s cool breezes right around the corner, sneaker lovers around the country will be in need of footwear that can handle the impending inclement weather, and Nike has provided a near-ideal option with a new Gore-Tex equipped take on the Air Force 1 Low in “Team Gold.” As the Air Force 1 is an inherently rugged silhouette by nature, equipping it with Gore-Tex’s ready-for-anything technical fabrics is an entirely sensible maneuver by the Swoosh Brand, and here the Bruce Killgore-designed classic is constructed with a mix of leather and tightly-woven mesh, all dressed in a soft gold tone. The hardy nature is played up by rope laces and a bold black embroidered hit on the lateral heel, with a grey midfoot Swoosh and Nike Air hit on the rear providing signature branded flair. The tongue offers a mix of black and gold, while down below the midsole and outsole both take on a more metallic gold hue for an interesting tonal contrast. These co-created Nike shoes will release later this fall at the retailers listed below, so keep it locked for more info on a date of arrival as it’s made available.
