Jordan NFL Athletes Receives Football-Inspired Air Jordan 12 PE Inside Mini Lockers

The NFL season is in full swing, and Jordan Brand has prepared some special footwear for their American football athletes, as players have started to receive a PE-edition Air Jordan 12 that’s inspired by the gridiron but designed for the streets. Packaged in a clever mini locker that’s adorned with special stickers/magnets, these AJ12s feature a pebbled pigskin leather upper, accented by smooth white, bold black, and regal gold detailing. Michael Jordan’s signature graces the tongue, just like how NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s autograph appears on game balls, and the heel tag features a “Jordan Family” hit. Finishing touches of detail are then provided by an orange sockliner that nods to endzone pylons, and actual pieces of turf that are visible under the translucent outsole. As these are indeed player exclusives, they were crafted solely for Jordan Brand team members like Joe Haden, Alshon Jeffery, and Michael Thomas, so they won’t see a retail release. However, you can check ’em out in detail here, and keep it locked to our Jordan Release Dates page to see what else the Jumpman has on the way this fall/winter.
