Nike Adds Techwear Elements To The Air Force 1 High Gore-Tex

Nike Adds Techwear Elements To The Air Force 1 High Gore-Tex

Technologically advanced in construction with hints of the militaristic, Nike’s latest set of Air Force 1s tap inspirations diverse and toolings slightly more newfound in comparison to much of their inline releases. While coinciding with an upcoming Halloween rendition, a Laker’s make-up, and more, this Gore-Tex dressed pair — which sits next to a low of the same material — is yet another notch on the belt of their “The 10th” series, a line dedicated to the iconic Bill Bowerman and the heroics of his decorated career. Cut to a high-top height, the pair evokes quite a bit of connection to the model’s duck boot tooling as hardened shells arm the toe box for winter weather; overlays of smooth leathers as well as ballistic nylons line the base to further proof it for harsher conditions. Palettes, in connection to its theme, are stark white along almost its entirety with contrast by way of icy blue soles and swooshes as well as the boldface font of the “GORE-TEX” emblazoned right on the heel. Elsewhere, the entire ankles are removed of the build’s typical heft, favoring an innovative zipper bootie adorned with toggles at its rear and a tab of the overarching series’ namesake. Grab a detailed look right here and find it releasing at Nike.com and select retailers within the next few months.
