Sneaker Room And Nike Continue Their Charitable Partnership With Limited React Element 87s

With October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month right around the corner, we’re reminded of the tragedies that many around the world have endured – and are still going through today. Over the years, Sneaker Room’s Suraj Kaufman has been vocal about how the disease affected his own family, and he’s used the platform of his shop and the footwear community to spin it all into a positive message. It’s connected him with other survivors and families, and even NBA Superstar Kyrie Irving, who also lost his mother to the battle many years ago.

For 2019, the shop’s ongoing charitable partnership with Nike highlights the React Element 87 in three distinct versions that rely on the powerful pink hue. Each style is individually numbered on the heel stripe via the respective production runs, while “SR Cares” adorns the upper tip of the tongue. The slogan of their ongoing mission is also found on the exterior rivets on the React sole.

As all the Sneaker Room x Nike collaborations for October go, these will be available to the public in extremely limited quantity, and the breakdown is as follows: the pink/pink is set at $250 with just 525 pairs made; the white/pink is set at $500 with just 126 pairs made; the black/pink, complete with Swarovski-encrusted Swoosh logos, will be $1,000 with just 63 pairs made. The shoes will be available exclusively at Sneaker Room in-store and online. All proceeds of this release will go directly to the Jersey City Medical Center.
