The Nike Air Force 1 “Under Construction” Is Built For Winter

With autumn upon us and summer’s warm breezes gradually fading into fall’s brisk winds, it’s time to start looking for footwear that’s slightly more stout in structure, and thankfully Nike has a five-pack of seasonally-appropriate takes on the Air Force 1 Low and Air Force 1 High dubbed the “Under Construction” ready to go. Some sneaker lovers worry about sacrificing style in pursuit of a sufficiently stalwart design, but that’s thankfully not the case here, as all five of these modified Air Force 1s present a look that’s inspired by London’s building boom, complete with references to construction jackets and traffic cones. Arriving in white/black with pops of lime green (low-top only), black/grey with hits of orange, and a more monochromatic white/silver, each pair’s signature detail arrives on the midfoot, where a cut-out, semi-translucent Swoosh graphic surrounded by a bold Nike Air text hit provides a powerful punch of branding. That’s not all that’s present here though, as all three styles also present a durable toe cap overlay, technical detailing on the tongue/strap, and an embellished heel tab for easy on/easy off. Peep a comprehensive image gallery below, and look for this quintet of Nike shoes to hit Nike.com/select Swoosh Brand stockists in the coming weeks as well.
