If the surge in Nike Dunk popularity that’s been going on over the last 12-18 months has revealed anything, it’s that all trends are cyclical and what goes up must come down (and may eventually go back up again). Whether its the nostalgia of the early-mid 2000s or the sheer fact that Travis Scott continues to put the fat-tongued classics back on the map, the Dunk has reached incredible heights of hype to the point where even in-line “GRs” are clearing out of store shelves. This new “Island Green” colorway is a clean package that is sure to disappear from stock as well as the tonal upper, contrasting bone white Swoosh, and solid gum sole recalls a bit of that Pro B flair that was made famous by the Puttys. Expect them at skateshops and eventually on Nike’s official website in the coming weeks.
