“Ruthless” can be used to describe two things keeping Damian Lillard occupied – his diss track against NBA great Shaquille O’neal, and the colorway for his upcoming new signature shoe. For NBA Media Day, the Portland Trailblazers clutch-god debuted the adidas Dame 6 shoe in a vibrant colorway with a bold moniker painted onto the medial midsole. This low-cut model features a breathable upper with a deconstructed package that features a mesh overlay on the lateral side, thick ribbons that extend into the lace-loops, an exterior plating at the achilles, and exposed stitching. Even the outsole features a split color-blocking as the lateral outrigger of the sole makes use of a bright crimson and black camo-style arrangement. As for a release, it appears we’ll have to wait until at least late November as several iterations of his current model, the Dame 5, are scheduled to hit stores.
