The Nike Air Barrage Mid Releases In A 49ers Colorway

A silhouette often associated with the game of football as it was widely worn by NFL greats such as Marshall Faulk and Ernie Mills, the Nike Air Barrage made a surprising comeback into the Swoosh’s lineup this year. With the San Francisco 49ers off to an incredible 5-0 start, it’s fun to think that their undefeated run inspired the latest iteration of the lifestyle model as it has just emerged in a brand new red and metallic gold colorway. Multi-directional overlays which usually present themselves in leather constructions, are now swapped for a shimmery smooth silks applied in gold across the lateral/medial sides and straps, in addition to a daring red that runs the length of the throat. Furthermore, a leopard pattern is utilized towards the heels of its customary “Nike Air’ branding to complete its aggressive look, and arrives as a slight deviation from previously revealed colorways. See a closer look here below, and note that these are now available at select Nike retailers for $140 USD.
