Nike Connects With A Chicago Barbershop For Air Force 1 ALL FOR 1 Release

Nike Connects With A Chicago Barbershop For Air Force 1 ALL FOR 1 Release

Officially announced today, the all-new ALL FOR 1 initiative by Nike aims to tap into the communities of a handful of cities across the US to reimagine their classic Air Force 1. One of the cities included in the strategy is none-other-than Chicago in which the No Guts No Glory barbershop headed up by Drew Henderson serves as the key inspiration for this updated offering. From the tongue logo’s skyline that sits atop a comb-shape silhouette, to the remixed lace tips that mirror that of traditional barbershop poles with Chicago flag colors, to the pony hair heel tabs nodding to hundreds of haircuts executed daily, to the unity insole graphics, these renditions directly translate characteristics reflective of the Windy City and Henderson’s community. In addition, these classic AF1s also feature a collection of functional upgrades including rolled edges so to eliminate the need to remove anything that may seep into the seams, in addition to waxed laces to keep hair from getting trapped in. Grab a closer look here below, and expect these to release on Nike.com and at select Chicago retailers on December 7th.
