adidas Is Releasing The EQT Solution In Another OG Colorway

Looking to the past as much as they do the future, adidas has continued to foster their penchant for retro revivals, doing so yet again only less than a month ago with 1998’s EQT Solution. Not without its updates despite a mostly true-to-OG recreation, the model — according to some retailers — might be seeing a name change to the much more succinct “FYW 98,” a nod to its part in the famed Foot You Wear collections as well as the year of its original inception. With its gold-accented pair on the way for the near future — possibly in 2020 as an energetic start to the decade — it looks like we’ll also be graced with the this OG mix of Dark Blue and bold reds. The latter of a glossy nylon and the former mesh, the material composition is just as it original once from years back, ostensibly channeling a vintage energy without the use of yellowed sole units and the like. Solar Yellow, a small yet impactful part to the core palette, find place at the retro outlines of the scattered Three Stripes branding as well as the patch along the vamp. Elsewhere, the upper embellishes with various emblems along its bottoms and a playful FYW logo along the heel counter. Grab a detailed look right here and keep it locked for word on their adidas.com and select retailer release.
