Nike’s Aqua Rift Combines The Classic Model With Water-Ready Uppers

Nike’s Aqua Rift Combines The Classic Model With Water-Ready Uppers

More geared towards those that possess a love for eccentric style, the newly designed Nike Aqua Rift is set to make its debut this holiday season. Essentially an Air Rift with neoprene uppers, the fashion-forward silhouette arrives in an almost mid-profile shape, and divides its upper constructions into three segmented parts. The forefoot carries over its predecessor’s signature split-toe tabi design, and is separated by a tiny gap between the mid-foot shroud that keeps your foot locked in place by way of a velcro strap. The outsole unit – which draws close connections to a Rick Owens runner – features Nike branding raised upon its lateral walls, while the medial sides lay the words “Not Required For Use” seated next to a water symbol speaking to that of its lifestyle focus. Two colorways including a white/black/tan and a multi-colored rendition are dropping overseas on December 20th, so grab a closer look here below before you add them to your rotation.
