The Nike Air Max 97 Gets A Classic Charlotte Hornets Colorway

The Nike Air Max 97 continues to maintain a level on consistency each month by continuing to focus its efforts towards a high volume of in-line releases. The classic Sportswear silhouette has been gaining its attention more recently for experimenting with different materialized accents such as more corduroy styles and upgrades of woodgrain trim, but it look as though its reverting back to elements of familiarity as this recently surfaced colorway arrives outfitted in full Charlotte Hornets theme. The thicker mudguard layer gets a muted purple paint job, followed by the transition of team-inspired hues that between the Swoosh logos, wave overlays closest to the ankle, as well as the throat all contributing to a color story rising NBA athlete Devonte Graham’ would surely enjoy. In addition, tiny doses of pink get added to the heel tabs and insole graphics to slightly break up its Hornets motif. Grab a detailed look at official images here below, and find these hitting Nike.com and select retailers in the coming future for $160 USD.
