The Air Jordan 1 Mid Continues The Alternate Color-blocking Trend With Kids-Only Release

Jordan Brand is letting kids in on the fun as official images of an impressive color-blocked Air Jordan 1 Mid have surfaced. This Grade School pair adds yet another tally to the mid-silhouette’s growing release calendar for 2020 and does so in an exciting – though perhaps not as exciting as the forthcoming “Flashing Lights” colorway – manner. With the mid and forefoot left sterile in a pure white leather, the party begins at the Swooshes given that the iconic logo is done in an alternating fashion between right shoe – purple with yellow lining – and left shoe – blue on blue. Furthermore, the former side dons a red collar/orange heel combo that complements the latter’s respective Seattle Supersonic-like scheme nicely. Rounding out the colorful design, insoles on this AJ1 Mid are done in a sunset orange on the right shoe and a rich blue on its counterpart.

Whether or not this color-blocking was left over from the “Fearless Ones” collection is unknown, but we’re definitely glad they’re scheduled to hit Nike.com and select retailers come January (even if they’re only meant for kids). Grab a detailed look at the shoes below and keep it locked here as we update our store list.
