The Recrafted Nike Air Max 90 Celebrates Chinese New Year 2020 With Red And Silver

January is around the corner, and that means we can expect countless Chinese New Year-themed footwear interspersed throughout the month of sneaker releases. Among those by Nike is the fully re-crafted Air Max 90; aside from the series of OG-style colorways coming in the second week of January, the Swoosh is pushing the remastered retro into the limelight with several special editions, and you’ll be amiss if you think it won’t appear in a refined concept inspired by Eastern traditions. Aside from the tri-color hit of red, silver, and light purple, a light pattern of cranes is gently present on the toe-box, while the 2020 logo is featured on the tongue as well as the insoles. These are currently on the ledger for January 15th, so stay tuned for the drop. For more information regarding other Nike/Jordan “Year of the Rat” releases, check out our Chinese New Year 2020 page.
