The Nike Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” Is Returning As A Golf Shoe

In the past, Nike has been known to re-structure classic lifestyle models such as the AM 1 and AM 90 into footwear options more suited for the golf course. And now, arguably the most popular colorway of Nike’s beloved Air Max 97 silhouette, the “Silver Bullet” makeover is now set to make its return to the market this time for an updated variation built to swing in some hole-in-ones. The wavy-designed upper is left entirely untouched as each element from it metallic coating to its red Swoosh branding to its white midsole is translated perfectly, leaving the outsole to slightly adjust its look. The recognizable Air unit now arrives slightly thinner than we’re used to, allowing its beefed up tread upgraded with thicker/more jagged edges to provide more substantial traction when zooming through the fairway. Enjoy a closer look at the pair here below, and find these dropping on Nike.com on January 16th.
