Nike Applies Hues Of Mauve To The Air Max 270 React

Although Nike and Travis Scott will soon usher in a new look on the Air Max 270 React, the hybrid lifestyle sneaker will still hold on to its debut construction for at least the coming months as it’s appearing in Beaverton’s Chinese New Year 2020 collection. Furthermore, the chunky silhouette keeps popping up in impressive colorways slated for general release like this “Plum Chalk” version. Like its “Year Of The Rat” edition, this forthcoming pair opts for a softer palette, but trades the mood-boosting “sunset” hues for subdued purples, greys, and tans. And yet, this medley of colors would fit perfectly in any springtime sneaker rotation. The darkest tone of the bunch is a rich grey fixed at the mud and lace guards, as well as heel tab. Shifting gears, the curved mixed-fabric overlays on the upper switch between “Plum Chalk,” “Summit White,” and “Stone Mauve” that create a sophisticated look when combined with the tumbled-leather finish on profile Swooshes and lace tabs. Down below, REACT midsoles are left plain while the plump Air unit at the heel boasts a pinkish tint.

Grab a closer look at this pair below and keep it locked here as more updates about its stateside Nike.com release come as we inch closer to Spring 2020.
