Jordan Brand Unveils The Max 200 XX

Today, just six days ahead of the return of its first women’s sneaker from 1998, Jordan Brand unveils the Jordan Max 200 XX, its newest women-exclusive model. Unlike the original women’s Air Jordan, the newly launched silhouette isn’t intended for the hardwood, though it features design inspiration from the Air Jordan 8 worn by the Jumpman himself as he helped the Chicago Bulls become the first team ever to win three straight NBA titles. Featuring geometric overlays atop a breathable mesh base, uppers on the Max 200 XX are more suitable for civilian life. Furthermore, the large, visible Air unit near the heel promises all-day comfort and will surely don an assortment of tints throughout its release cycle just like on the debut pairs pictured below. Modern, but still undoubtedly Jordan, this lifestyle sneaker is poised to become a staple for the brand as demand for women-exclusive models continues to grow.

Priced at $125 USD, the Jordan Max 200 XX in “Sail” is available right now. The “Lavender” pair will likely usher in the model’s wider release later this month on Nike.com for the same price.
