Nike’s modern basketball line-up, in which focus tends to gravitate towards five standouts backed by their very own NBA athlete, continues to flesh out a wealth of new colorways — some inspired by Gatorade and others continuing long-running themes. But the connection between all is the lack of PE treatments, exclusive make-ups that the adjacent Air Jordan 34 has received in spades from the Beaverton office outward. But with the advent of Black History Month, it seems that’s changing slowly with one notch per each, outfitting the entire range in a mix of on-brand color blocking as well as influence from 90s street style and African textiles.
