After enjoying a modest moment in the spotlight for much of last year thanks to sacai, the Nike Blazer closed out the decade much how it’s welcomed 2020: with understated ensembles. Recently emerged in a black suede construction, the Blazer Mid ’77 adds yet another tally to its roster of subtle arrangements. Complete with “Pure Platinum” profile swooshes and an off-white midsole, the most striking pop of color on this forthcoming release is the red logo accompanying vintage-style Nike branding at the exposed-foam tongue. Elsewhere on the shoes, laces and heel detailing follow suit in white and light grey, respectively.
