Nike Takes The Air Max 97 On Another Golden Spin

Nike Takes The Air Max 97 On Another Golden Spin

In best wishes for the Tokyo Olympics, Nike has offered up a vast assortment of different event-themed releases — the Air Max 97 seemingly getting the brunt of this design language as it just recently wrapped up an entire pack that bore homage to the occasion’s interlaced ring logo. From green to red and through everything in between, the model is now aiming for something much more lofty: first place. It saw to a full dip just last week, but for an extra ounce of good luck, Beaverton is providing a complementing pair, one that, though quite similar in its gold adornments, departs by way of added neutrals. These, which only prefer the lighter pigments of a white shade, dresses the midsole walls in entirety while also separating the surrounding metallic finishes at the inner lining. Everything else across the upper — layers, stitch, debossed checks, laces, etc. – all sit in luxury, finishing as if your dream car with a swoosh dubrae at the vamp. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release at Nike.com soon.
