Hiroshi Fujiwara Continues The Teases With A Fragment x Nike Air Force 1 High

Ever an integral part of the Nike Family, designer/influencer/everything Hiroshi Fujiwara seems to always be hiding his upcoming works. For New York Fashion Week, however, it seems the Fragment head has gotten just a bit more forthright as he shares countless images of close friend G-Dragon as well as a few sneaker leaks sparsely woven in between. First revealing a never-before-seen Air Jordan 34 just yesterday, the latest to pop up on the feed is an Air Force 1 High embellished subtly in what has become his signature. Much of the silhouette seems to be left a clean triple white in its standard leathers, modified quite liberally save for along the sole unit. Swooshes — one side even cut off short — are drawn minimally with its adjacent paneling even standing as a fraction of what it used to be. The most noticeable change would have to the velcro’d fasteners down the tongue, a new touch that leads towards the toe that entirely removes its signature perforations. Grab a quick look at these here, and as there’s a chance they may never see release, keep it locked for further details.

UPDATE (02/17/2020):

As relayed during Complex Con in 2017, this pair of Air Force 1s was actually one part to a much larger “The Ten” capsule that lost out to Virgil Abloh’s own collection of designs. Among a few other silhouettes, the pair is but a prototype with chances of a release extremely slim.
